If life engenders the power of choice, there have to be diverse perspectives. God has his perspectives on every situation and circumstance of life. He says my thoughts are higher than yours, and my way higher than your way Isaiah 55:8-9. As long as the way of man is complicated and hard to get by in life, there is a way that is higher and easier. God's word is the Way. To easily get by in life and maintain being in charge and on top, seek the Way to enforce His thoughts.
God is spirit and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. He that is spiritual judges all things and is not judged by anything. Get the truth; stay free!

God's Perspective On Your Desire
Desire is a feeling; a function of the emotions compartment of the human soul. God's plan for salvation covers every aspect of human existence; the spirit, soul and body. And what we desire affects to a max extent how the soul fairs. On this journey of our soul being redeemed, what our mind processes borders much on the information being feed to it either from the physical world or instructions from heaven.
If from heaven, the Holy Spirit helps us to properly understand the will of God. Thus, God's desire and plan becomes our desire.
